The shadowy figure of Neherenia is in the mirror, hair and dress flowing in the wind. Zirconia, with Zircon, stands in front of the mirror. Neherenia tells Zirconia that the Dream Mirror which holds Pegasus shines gold, because the Golden Crystal influences the Mirror. Neherenia commands Zirconia to quickly find the Golden Dream Mirror. She then tells Zirconia to keep an eye on the "four girls," and to use them properly.

At the Crown Arcade, Motoki puts up a poster on a wall. Chibi-Usa and Momoko are with him. Usagi and Mamoru walk into the arcade. They spot the poster, which is an ad for the Dead Moon Circus.
Chibi-Usa hugs Mamoru's arm, about to ask him to go to the Circus with her. But Usagi pulls Chibi-Usa's cheek (really far!), and hugs Mamoru's other arm.
Usagi: Mamo-chan, if you want to go, let's go alone together without annoyances!
Momoko: I'm jealous...
Momoko: I said I'm jealous of Usagi having a nice
boyfriend.
Usagi: Momoko, you'll have a boyfriend who wants to melt in
love when you're an adult.
Mamoru: Melt?
Momoko: I see! If I become an adult, I'll have a boyfriend who
wants to melt in love with me! Wonderful! I want to become an adult
soon!
Motoki spots some newcomers at the arcade. Four girls are crowded around a shooting game. One had pink hair and a flower on her forehead, one has green hair, one has light blue hair, and the last has red hair. All have exotic headpieces.
The four girls walk by Momoko, apparently having overheard her words. They tell her that adults always have to worry about what their dreams look like to other people, and that it's more fun to be a kid. The quartet then walk away, chanting:
Quartet: Never, never be suspicious of dreams within the dreams of dreaming kids...
In the Dead Moon Circus, a bunch of Lemures are crowded together (all of them are *very* strange). The four girls from the Crown Arcade show up. All together, they talk about how dreams can only be seen while one is sleeping, and that mirrors reveal the true nature of a person. They wonder at adults, why they want to realize their dreams, and say that failed dreams end up as excuses.
Zirconia appears, commanding everyone to be quiet. The Lemures quickly fade away, leaving the four girls with Zirconia. The four girls then introduce themselves. The pink-haired girl introduces herself as CereCere, magician of flowers. The blue-haired girl is PallaPalla, magician of ball-balancing. The green-haired girl is JunJun, magician of acrobatic feats, and the red-haired girl is VesVes, magician of animals.
Quartet: We, the Amazoness Quartet, are here!
Zirconia yells at the Quartet for being late and being lazy, but the Quartet don't take her seriously and fool around. VesVes even tries to usurp her as leader of the circus; she attacks Zirconia with her red Amazon ball. VesVes charges her, and Zirconia raises his hand against her, the red Amazon ball between them glowing with energy. After a while, with both sides struggling, Zirconia finally blows back VesVes with a huge explosion. Zirconia says to herself that the Quartet are strong, and she fears what would happen if they attacked she all at once. But to the Quartet, she says defeating them would be like playing with babies.
Zirconia gives the Quartet a picture of their next target, which turns out to be Momoko (really cute picture of Momo-chan! ^_^). The Quartet recognize her from the arcade, and since VesVes attacked Zirconia, the Quartet pick her to go.
Chibi-Usa and Momoko are just outside the arcade when VesVes (in civilian clothes) approaches them. VesVes apologizes for what she said to Momoko earlier, and gives her a bunch of tickets to the Dead Moon Circus. VesVes then leaves, chanting, "Never, never be suspicious of dreams within the dreams of dreaming kids..."
At the Dead Moon Circus, Usagi and Minako marvel at how exciting the circus is. Rei, Mako, and Ami remind the two that they're supposed to be looking after Chibi-Usa and Momoko, who are also there.
High up above the circus arena, the Amazoness Quartet sit on a trapeze platform in Amazoness garb. They spot Momoko in the audience.
Momoko and the others watch the circus show happily. In a trapeze act, a trapeze artist in a tutu with a giant bear head sits on the trapeze. The trapeze artist goes back and forth like on a swing. Once in a while, though, the tutu-bear trapeze artist turns into VesVes and back again, as the trapeze swings back and forth. Momoko can't believe her eyes, but it keeps happening. VesVes then sprinkles some flower petals while the trapeze continues swinging back and forth, until Momoko is hypnotized. Momoko then walks like a drone out of the circus arena, ignoring Chibi-Usa when she calls her. Chibi-Usa, concerned, calls Usagi.
Momoko walks to the topmost deck of the Dead Moon Circus, in front of the Amazoness Quartet. Snapping out of her trance, she wonders where she is. The Quartet smile evilly.
Usagi, Chibi-Usa, Ami, Rei, Mako, and Minako follow Momoko. They see the Amazoness Quartet; suspicious, they transform.
Meanwhile, VesVes takes out a pool stick and shoots her Amazon ball at Momoko. The ball hits Momoko in the back, punching out her Dream Mirror. However, her mirror isn't the Golden Mirror. The Quartet are very disappointed. The Sailor Team appear and say their speech.
VesVes smiles, and a long shadow appears on the ground. A Lemure, GaraGara-chan, comes out from the shadow. The Lemure looks like a big serpent with a human body at the end where the head should be. The human is a silver-haired girl, and the serpent's head comes out of her stomach. GaraGara-chan quickly eats Momoko's Dream Mirror.
A shocked Chibi-Moon runs up to GaraGara-chan and jumps into its open mouth (er... the serpent's mouth, not the girl's; the serpent was yelling, and it had its mouth open), holding the mouth open. But GaraGara-chan throws Chibi-Moon into a wall. Sailor Mars then attacks the Lemure. Chibi-Moon gets up and calls Pegasus, and Sailor Moon uses her "Moon Gorgeous Meditation" attack. The Lemure is destroyed, and Momoko's Dream Mirror reappears. The Amazoness Quartet quickly exit.
In the Dead Moon Circus, the Quartet are getting treatment from the Amazon masseuses (er... they're people with white coats on, but the actual bodies are invisible... didn't I tell you these Lemures were strange? ^_-). The Quartet are eager to find Pegasus, so they can keep his power for themselves. Zirconia overhears, and worries over how insubordinate the Quartet are. In the mirror, Neherenia tells Zirconia to leave them alone, but to still keep an eye on the Quartet.
Finally, Queen Neherenia is seen from her end of the mirror, smiling evilly.
Neherenia: I am the true Queen of the Moon, Queen Neherenia!
