By Honjoy Kindergarten, Kyusuke, Momoko, and Chibi-Usa are together, putting up a poster for the "Bazaar" when Usagi and the other girls walk up. Chibi-Usa explains to the girls that the Bazaar goes on next Sunday, at Honjou Kindergarten. Chibi-Usa, Momoko, and Kyusuke, alumni of Honjou Kindergarten, are helping for the festival.
Suddenly, a man with short, wavy brown hair walks up with a group of children. It's Honjou-san, the head of the kindergarten. All the girls (except Ami, of course ^_-) instantly have hearts in their eyes. Minako quickly volunteers the girls to help with the Bazaar, while Makoto dreamily says that Honjou-san is very nice...

Honjou thanks the girls for volunteering to help the Bazaar. He hopes that the Bazaar will raise a lot of money, so that the kindergarten can get a flower bed. He and Makoto quickly get into a conversation about flowers; jealous, Minako pulls Makoto out of the way and starts talking with Honjou. While she's speaking, a little boy with hair like Honjou-san's, called Kotaro, comes up and makes a big "X" on Minako's cheek with a marker. Honjou quickly apologizes, then he and Kotaro leave.
At the Dead Moon Circus, Zirconia has another target, and she gives the target's picture to the Amazoness Quartet. VesVes, JunJun, and PallaPalla fight over who gets the job (all of them want it). CereCere comes up with a blue flower, and its pink pollen shoots out and makes the rest of the Amazoness Quartet go to sleep. CereCere then takes the target's picture and leaves.
At Honjou Kindergarten, everyone is busy preparing for the Bazaar. Makoto is restuffing a little teddy bear when Honjou walks up.
Honjou: You might want to be a nurse in the future.
Honjou: A lady like you makes the whole kindergarten cheerful!
Makoto: Is... Is that right? I see. A nurse isn't a bad
idea...
Minako gets jealous and quickly drags Honjou away into another room. A large... something stands in the center of the room. It looks like a strange Christmas tree made of clay (or a big beehive).
Minako: Look! Look! It's handmade!
Honjou: Handmade... what?
Minako: Oh, please! A sweater! While knitting, I got more and more
excited!
Kotaro takes a piece of string that winds around the "sweater" and begins pulling the string off. Minako tells him to stop, but he runs off, still pulling the string. Minako chases him. The two ruin all the booths for the Bazaar, including Makoto's. The teddy bear Makoto was working on is ruined, stuffing coming out of its paws, stomach, and head. Makoto gets very mad, and tells Minako that their friendship is over. Minako tries to apologize, but storms off when Makoto tells her to shut up. At home, Artemis tells Minako that instead of chasing Honjou, she should be helping with the Bazaar. Minako confesses that she was wrong to imitate Makoto since they have different talents. Minako goes over to a dresser and pulls out a microphone.
Minako: With my songs, I'll get Mr. Honjou's loving heart!
At the kindergarten, a limousine pulls up, and CereCere gets out, dressed in fancy clothes.

The day of the Bazaar has come, and the kindergarten is crowded with people. Usagi, Ami, Rei, Mako, and Chibi-Usa are in a booth making pancakes. The girls haven't seen Minako, and they wonder where she is. An angry Mako severely burns the pancake she's cooking, and she *really* bends the spatula she's cooking with. Suddenly, the girls hear "Route Venus" playing.
They go to a stage with little kids gathered around it. The sign says, "Super New Star Idol: Aino Minako: Recital and Signing". Minako appears from behind a curtain with a ridiculous outfit on, singing. The little kids have never seen her before, and say she is not popular. A very depressed and sad Minako runs off (with Moonlight Densetsu, karaoke version, in the background). Artemis convinces Makoto to follow Minako and talk to her.
Meanwhile, CereCere is walking around when Honjou comes up and gives her a balloon.
Minako tells Mako that she envies Makoto; Makoto's dream is very easy to realize with Makoto's talent. Minako says her dream to be an idol star is billions of light years away. Makoto says that, at first, she wasn't good at cooking or knitting, but she struggled hard. Minako gets upset and says she is struggling hard to become an idol star.
In a room, CereCere is talking to Honjou. She changes into Amazoness' garb and drops some seeds near Honjou. The seeds quickly sprout into large vines, which envelop the school. Kotaro sees the scene and runs away. He runs to where Makoto and Minako are still arguing, and tells them what happened at the kindergarten.
Meanwhile, Usagi and the others see CereCere advancing on Honjou, so they transform.
CereCere shoots her Amazon ball at Honjou, and punches out his Dream Mirror. Much to her dismay, it's not the Golden Mirror. Moon, Mercury, Mars, and Chibi-Moon arrive and say their speech. CereCere produces a Lemure, JaraJara. Its head is a huge tulip and its upper body is a slot machine. The Senshi are about to attack, but they suddenly realize they're standing inside a huge Venus Fly Trap when the Trap springs on them. They barely manage to keep the Trap from completely closing. Minako and Mako run up, and they're about to transform, but large vines entangle them and their transformation items drop to the floor. JaraJara eats Honjou's Dream Mirror. The rest of the Amazoness Quartet (they're finally awake) show up, angry at what CereCere did to them, and they all begin to argue.
Makoto and Minako are still getting strangled by the vines. Artemis comes up and throws them their transformation items.
Artemis: You definitely have new powers sleeping inside, like
Mercury and Mars!
Minako: New power...?
Artemis: With that power, you can save everyone!
Minako: You're right! No time to waste in quarrelling!
Makoto: Got to protect it! I've got to protect everybody's
dream!
Their transformation items glow, and the vines around them are torn into shreds. They transform into Jupiter and Venus. Venus attacks with her new power, "Venus Love and Beauty Shock," which scatters the Amazoness Quartet. Jupiter attacks with "Jupiter Oak Evolution," destroying the Venus Fly Trap and stunning JaraJara. Chibi-Moon calls Pegasus, and Moon destroys JaraJara. The Amazoness Quartet then leave.
At the Bazaar, Makoto is at her stuffed animal booth. Minako comes up with the brown teddy bear that had been destroyed. The bear has a lot of stitches, but it is stuffed neatly. Makoto notices that Minako's fingers have lots of Band-Aids on them, but Minako quickly hides her hands. Kotaro runs up and snatches the teddy bear, saying his father will pay for it. Honjou-san walks up apologetically; a shocked Makoto and Minako realize that Honjou-san is Kotaro's dad. Minako and Makoto are very embarrassed.
Kotaro: I like this tiger swellfish!
Minako & Makoto: It's a bear!
